The module CBTMN32 is a multiprotocol module that supports Bluetooth 5.0 stack for BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and is designed for high data rate short-range wireless communication in the 2.4GHz ISM band. Further the module supports SIGMESH protocol and ANT protocol. The module is based on Nordic Semiconductor chipset NRF52832 radio transceiver IC that has a 32bit ARM Cortex-M4F CPU, Flash memory and analog and digital peripherals. The CBTMN32 module provides a low power and ultra-low cost solution for wireless transmission applications.
A 36-pin module that is designed with rich customization capabilities. Ultra small foot print of 25.40mm × 20.07mm with a choice of PCB antenna that can be broken away to make 18.54mm × 20.07mm without PCB antenna. The module hosts 29 General Purpose I/O pins and can be powered with a 1.7-3.6VDC source. The module supports SPI, UART with bauds from 1200 to 115200 ADC and LPCOMP interfaces.
CBTMN32 module supports rich software APIs that can be used to develop end customer applications. Supporting both Android and iPhone, the SDK provides capabilities such as scanning for beacons (iBeacons, Eddystone URL/UID, Eddystone TLM) and encoded BLE communication. Further capacities of over-the-air provisioning, upgrades, low-power state configuration and BLE 5.0 MESH can be done using the SDK.
